This hard hat meets the ANSI/ISEA Z89.1 Type 1, Class G & E standards of safety (American National Standards Institute/International Safety Equipment Association) in terms of the level of protection and performance it provides when a large object comes into contact with it, whether that be an electrical hazard or something falling.
